Medical Centre
William Angliss Institute has an on campus Medical Centre with health services provided by a qualified medical doctor.
Student Recreation Centre
The William Angliss Institute Recreation and Liaison Office provides a broad program of sport, cultural and entertainment activities, both on and off campus.
Students can also enjoy a wide range of services in the student lounge area, including:
- Magazine borrowing
- Newspaper borrowing
- Photocopying
- Overhead transparencies
- Lounge to relax in
- Free tea and coffee
- Pool tables
- Table Tennis tables
- Employment notices
- Event tickets
- Discounted movie tickets

Students at William Angliss can participate in a wide variety of state-wide sporting and other events co-ordinated by "TAFE Sport and Recreation Victoria".The Recreation Department also provides a variety of adventure activities and a variety of tours within Victoria and Australia. Recent trips have included rock climbing, abseiling, and tours to Queensland and Central Australia.
Learning Support
Learning support is available by appointment for students requiring specialised help with any aspect of their study at William Angliss Institute. The learning support teacher can also be contacted if note-takers and/or an interpreter for hearing impaired students are required.
For International students learning support is also available in the International student area.
International Student Support
International students enrolled at William Angliss Institute are invited to use any of the Institute Student Services. In addition there are specialist international learning support teachers and activities for International students. International students can access further information from the International Student Office.
Student Counselling
Enrolled students are invited to contact the William Angliss Institute Counselling Centre if they need assistance in the following areas:
- Educational issues including adjusting to or managing study, time management.
- Vocational decisions and search skills.
- Housing information data base including hostels, flats and shared housing.
- Financial information including Youth Allowance, Austudy, budgeting.
- Counselling on personal and emotional issues which are affecting the student's study.
- The Counsellors are registered psychologists with specialist registration in both counselling and educational psychology.
